It's time to start on a new piece...

I need to get working on my next piece while I'm still inspired from the exhibition. I'm aiming to get at least one piece done by the end of the month.

I'm thinking about a coral reef/underwater theme and have plans to do a series.

There are a few more design issues that I need to figure out here though. In my previous pieces the trees, which are a feature of the overall image, also provide really good structural support for the layers. With this theme I need to work out how to achieve to design the image to ensure that there is a similar level of structure for the framing process.

Now back to my search for pictures and ideas...

Hi - I'm Jeana. I recently found your blog, and I see you are based in Geelong - so am I :) Just wanted to pop in and say hi. Your art looks spectacular - I'm not a professional artist but I certainly have a love for working with textiles. Looking forward to reading about more of your work!
