Today I launch my Etsy shop!!!

Apparently I joined Etsy in March 2006 but it wasn't until a couple of weeks ago that I actually spent some time browsing through. I think I've always avoided it for fear that I'd find too much wonderful stuff that I would need (not need, just really, really want!!)

Today though, I converted to an Etsy seller and listed my first item. Please check out my shop
here. There's only one item there at the moment, but I'm going to work on more.

This is my first item...

Scattered Leaves
Appliqued and quilted wall hanging
Hand-dyed cottons and pane velvet.
43.5" x 12.25"(115.5cm x 31cm)

Scattered Leaves

Nice! I haven't ventured into selling on Etsy...yet.

Thanks for dropping by my blog. The soy wax melts at a lower temperature, doesn't have the same nasty fumes as beeswax or paraffin wax have when hot, and best of all, washes out easily. No having to scrape and melt it out, which is great.

Congratulations and welcome to the world of etsy.....I made my first sale the other day!!!!!!

There should be a parcel with you sometime this week...should have seen me yesterday....four large parcels....only one for Australia...all the rest for the US. The etsy community is a whole new world.....just think you can start up a Geelong street team or whatever they call them

And Jeanamarie...want to see you there too...etsy I mean...not the post office...your parcel is coming soon!!!!!

Hooray for etsians...the ones who do not bore everyone with pushing their sales that is....you know the ones I mean. Speaking of which....did you get some calling cards? I have ordered some "website cards" from a fellow etsian ...stunningly cute and cheap and free shipping from the US!!!!!!! Let me know if you want to have a look at her shop
