I started out very controlled and following the stitches to the letter, but then started to add or change parts too. As I did these I had heaps more ideas that I wanted to explore but run out of room. I've written them down and will give them a go sometime.

love the color palette. Especially enjoyed the second sampler
Love the 2nd sampler in particular as although its very abstract you get the sense that its a summery night in Scotland with swarms of tiny tiny insects surrounding you.
You've worked hard at all the stitches. Both the controlled and the freer stitching is so elegant looking.
