She lives!!!!!!!

I've been on a bit of a blogger break but now I'm back and rearing to go.

B and I have been away to New Zealand recently and had a fabulous times. Again I struggled with the snowboarding, and after 2 days and a twisted ankle I began to wonder if perhaps I shouldn't just pack it in and stick with the apres skiing (sitting in the warmth of the cafeteria with a hot chocolate and a bowl of soup. I did this for one day while I let my ankle recover and then got back in to give it another go and "by George I think she's got it!!!" I managed to get down an entire run without falling, stopping or taking my boots out from bindings due to aching cramping feet. And not just once, but several times!! Don't get me wrong, I'm not good by any means, but to be able to complete a run and even to get off a lift without falling, is a definite acheivement. We also did our fair share of dining out looking around too.

Now it's back to the real word, and back to work. When I got home I was greeted with an email telling me that my upcoming machinthe emroidery workshop (one that I was to teach) had 3, maybe 4 people attending and would definitely go ahead... on Friday. When I went away there weren't many interested and I assumed that it would most likely not go ahead - silly me. So that's what I did yesterday and it went really well!!! (Of course it would said B). I was a bit more nervous about this one as I hadn't had a chance to rund through it beforehand like I would have hoped, however the plans in my head came through and the students were pleased, so who could complain with that!!

My goal for this weekend is to clean up the work table (fromerly known as the dining table) and the work room (formerly the dining room) so that perhaps I can get caught up on some real work (the textile stuff that I don't get paid to do... yet). If I get through that, then I'm also going to try to get to the office/sewing room so that perhaps we could have the dining room back (sometimes).

Sooooooo..... I'm off to it..... wish me luck!!!
