Weekend Dyeing Session

I spent Sunday dyeing 21 metres of fabric to repleniswh my supply. The box below is my procion dyes sitting patiently to be washed out. They are still waiting, except for the glad-wrapped peices in the middle...



This is the results of the glad-wrapped peices, hanging out to dry - I think they look interesting!
and even more interesting close up!Lesson for the day... These juice container cannot withstand boiling water. Beleive it or not both containers were the same size, however boiling water was poured into the one on hte right and it quickly xhrunk to this size.

This is the iron oxide dyeing in progress. These buckets each contain a different oxide (the ones used to colour concrete and mortar (for tiling etc)
