This is space dyed using procion dyes. I was doing a colour study of Lichen (green), Magenta and black. This is using up the leftover dye. I roughly scrunched the fabrics and layed them end to end, back and forth, in a kitty litter tray and then poured the lichen and magenta dyes across the whole lot. After about 2-3 hours I poured the black over so as to not drown the colours out. There are 3 of these and I love them all. As you say I don't think that I can cut them up and will need to put some thought into how I will build them up! They are 50cm x 152cm so the three together as panels could really work!

Ohhh Yum. I can't wait to see what you do with those pieces. I love the colours especially, dark and earthy.
