I started my wrapping with the hands so that I could hide the ends under the fabric strips. I'm not all that happy with the results as they ended up VERY puffy and look more like broken and bandaged hands than something delicate and "spirit" like. At the ends of the fingers I wrapped as far down as I could and then folded the wire back on itself and then wrapped back down again. The problem is that the pliers cut the wool, even when protected with paper, and the ends seemed to unravel anyway.
Back to the drawing board on that bit!!
