I had my meeting with the quilt shop owner today to discuss potential workshops/classes. I've been allocated 2 Saturday slots in the next terms class schedule, and if they're successful then I may get to do some more. I'm pretty happy with that. One class will be on dyeing and the other machine embroidery. Now I've got to get moving and write a summar of the class, create some samples, do some costings and basically put the two workshops together.

Hey Sophie, thanks for dropping by my blog. We didn't look at the info centre at Mary Cairncross, so I will certainly do that next time (later in the year I hope) My Dad was brought up all around the area, and he and Mum have been there heaps of times. Mum is a bit frail, so we didn't walk anywhere this time.
What sort of machine embroidery do you do? I have a Pfaff, and am trying to get better at using it, but I don't have much spare time. I am in awe of your quilting fabrics and dyeing skills
Congratulations on the workshops, Sophie!
