Sketching with thread

I gave this a go this morning.  It was a 15 minute excersice whilst should have been getting ready for work this morning.

I am really happy with the results.  Because of the limited time I only got halfway through the image that I was creating (a picture of two bare feet that turned up on the fron cover of our free local magazine when I got home yesterday afternoon).  Will take a photo when I finish (I'll give myself another 10 minutes) and post it ASAP.

B and I are going down to the beach this afternoon so I'll be packing my needle and thread along with the usual sketchbook and pencils.  Hopefully I can get a bit done while B is surfing.  It's also a great opportunity to get some more ideas happening for the exhibition pieces (which seems to be a bit slow at the moment - partly due to lack of time as I have been working a few extra shifts, and partly due to lack of ideas, and partly due to my frustrations with my sewing machine which does not seem to want to play fair and keeps breaking threads every few minutes).
